Singer-songwriter, Psychologist & Academic/PhD
I started singing at the age of 15 in a Rock band in Madeira Island, where I was born. Despite my passion for music, I decided to become a psychologist and researcher.
A few years later, after PhD in Coimbra/London and a Postdoc in Boston I realised that there was something missing. I realised I could not live without music, and started working on my own material.
My influences are diverse and include Florence & the Machine, Pink, Jeff Buckley, R.E.M., Skunk Anansie, Aurora, Jewel, U2, Oasis, Radiohead, The Verve, Muse, The Killers, the Manic Street Preachers, and Placebo, among many others.
